Chemistry Lab Ages 12-19 Intermediate

Virtual Chemistry Lab

Chemistry comes alive when you can touch it. In this course you assemble atoms from protons, neutrons and electrons, rotate accurate ball-and-stick molecules, melt and boil substances particle by particle, run a full acid-base titration with a live pH curve, and balance chemical equations until the atom scales sit level. Every model follows the real chemistry — correct electron shells, true bond angles, genuine titration mathematics — straight from the NEB science syllabus.

You will learn: doneAtomic structure: protons, neutrons, electrons and shells doneElements, isotopes and ions doneMolecular geometry and chemical bonding doneThe particle model and changes of state donepH, indicators and acid-base titration doneBalancing equations and conservation of mass

Lessons

1 token Atom Builder Add protons, neutrons and electrons to a live 3D atom and watch it become a new element, an isotope or an ion. 3D model 16 min done 2 hub Molecule Gallery Rotate accurate 3D models of water, methane, glucose and more — and tap any atom to meet the element behind it. 3D model 15 min done 3 thermostat States of Matter Heat and cool a box of particles to watch solids vibrate, liquids flow and gases fly — and find the melting plateaus. Virtual lab 15 min done 4 water_drop Acid-Base Lab Run a real titration: drip NaOH into acid, watch the indicator change colour and catch the dramatic pH jump on a live graph. Virtual lab 17 min done 5 balance Reaction Balancer Tip the atomic scales: set coefficients, count atoms on both sides and balance real reactions from combustion to photosynthesis.
